You start the itinerary in front of the Serranos Tower (Torres de Serranos).
Started to be built in 1392 by Pere Balaguer, the Towers were born as defenders of one of the most used accesses in old Valencia. In 1865 the walls were demolished, but these towers were exempt from demolition. The Towers are a magnificent exponent of Gothic architecture, and symbolize the Cridà; (arrival of foreigners to Valencia centuries ago on the road that came from the mountains).
In order to continue your journey, indicate the sonorous element that you can see on the intramural face next to the Puerta de Serranos arch.
