After McIver you can see the Statue of the Three Presidents, erected in honor of the three US presidents who were born in North Carolina.

- Andrew Jackson, 7th president during 1829-1837.
- James K Polk, 11th president during 1845-1849.
- Andrew Johnson, 17th president during 1865-1869.

This monument was inaugurated on October 19th, 1948 by President Harry S. Truman who delivered the keynote address of the inauguration.
