█ Confederate Monument

This monument was built in 1892 and honors southern (Confederate) soldiers who fell in the American Civil War.

At the top of the column there is a statue that represents a Confederate artillery soldier with a gun. Near the bottom of the column are two statues, one representing the Confederate infantry and the other a Confederate cavalry soldier. On each side of the monument there are two naval canyons.
